In 2016, Michigan Electrical Systems was created with the main goal of servicing residential and commercial projects. However, the MES roots were established  much sooner than that. Since 2000 owner, Joe Armstead has been working in the commercial and residential electrical spaces. Working through his apprenticeship license and journeyman license by 2005.

In 2006, Joe took his efforts onto a new challenge and began working in the traffic signal industry with the State of Michigan. The traffic industry is the professional space he has thrived in ever since. Achieving his Masters License in 2007 and Contractors license in 2016 along with a level 3  IMSA certification- With the stedfast approach of MES you can be confident as your trusted supplier and partner.
